The AutoID Secure System represents a true advancement in terms of cost and performance in the transition of proximity systems to long distance automatic vehicle identification, using the most modern RFID technologies.
Ensuring high security thanks to the reader and tag through an encrypted security code of the AutoID Secure system end user himself. The way it works is simple: the tag (also called transponder or smart label) is put in the windshield or faceplate of a vehicle (depends on the model) to identify it; when the vehicle approaches the reader's antenna, the antenna activates the tag, which proceeds to transmit its ID to the reader, which checks the compatibility of the security code recorded on the tag, ensuring it to be part of the AutoID Secure end user system, and not another system using the same RFID technology and same type of tag on the vehicle, avoding letting entry to vehicles that don't have an AutoID Secure system tag.
The ID transmitted by the reader, only for tags attributed to the end user of the AutoID Secure system, is an information that can be used by many controller models through Wiegand, ABA Track or directly through the TCP/IP reader interface.
OBS: Some cars of the Peugeot, Citroen and Renault lines have metallized glass in the windshield, which causes the tag to fail to be read. In these cases it is needed to install the tag in the superior part of the windshield, in the dotted area, or opting to use tags directly in the vehicle faceplate. Other options are semiactive tags, which come with an internal battery and have different performance. Depending on the metallization levels, there may be reading errors.

Advantages
Security
Since it doesn't read tags that don't belong to the AutoID Secure system end user, such as tolls, malls and other building complexes' tags that use the same RFID technology, ensures access security, opening entry / exit only for vehicles with tags already registered. It can also be directly attached to the windshield, avoiding the need of opening the windows and exposing drivers and passengers.
Efficiency
Each reader has up to two access points. Since it doesn't need a manual control, it provides more agility in vehicle's passage, avoiding queues in rush hour.
Compatibility
The tags are recorded with a sequential numeric ID, to avoid conflicts in the user's data base. The interfaces are: Wiegand, ABA Track and TCP/IP. Funciona com a maioria das controladoras disponíveis no mercado de controle de acesso.
Ease of use
The Readers have an automatic reading mode, that don't need programming. They are compact, saving space in installation panels. They have IP66 protection grade, so they can be exposed to weather without extra protection.
